Malaysia Uncovered calls Grab or a taxi "the easiest option especially if you have luggage." The drive takes about an hour from KL Sentral.
Neither source gives a fare for the trip up. For the trip down, Dive Into Malaysia paid RM61 by Grab from Awana to KL. Malaysia Uncovered paid RM76.
For a family of four, four bus tickets and four one-way SkyWay tickets come to about RM88 to RM93. A Grab can work out cheaper.
Dive Into Malaysia says a private transfer picks you up at your hotel lobby. You choose the vehicle size, which helps if you have luggage.
It also says day tours include return hotel transfers and return SkyWay tickets. That makes them the simplest all-in option.
Malaysia Uncovered says the drive takes about an hour. Most car parks charge a fee. It suggests parking at Awana SkyCentral and taking the cable car up.
