- LRT: GoAsia says to take the Kelana Jaya Line to KLCC station (KJ10). Follow the Suria KLCC exit, then the signs to the tower visitor entrance.
- Grab: The Malaysia Move says a Grab from central hotels costs about RM10 to RM20. GoAsia says drop-off is at the main entrance of Suria KLCC on Jalan P. Ramlee. That isn't the ticket check-in point, so allow time to walk.

Tips for Malaysian travellers
- Bring your MyKad. You save RM85 per adult on a weekday compared with the standard price.
- Book weekdays. MyKad tickets are RM3 cheaper than weekends.
- Pick a late afternoon slot for daylight and city lights in one visit.
- Bring a light layer. GoAsia says the indoor air-con can feel cold.
- Shoot the towers from outside. The Malaysia Move points out that you can't photograph the towers from inside them. GoAsia suggests KLCC Park at night or the Jalan Ampang sidewalk in the early morning.
