Itinerary
✅ Our driver will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to Semporna Town. The journey takes approximately one and a half hours.
✅ Check in at Seafest Hotel.
✅ Free and leisure.
✅ Meals are at own expense.
✅ 9:15am – Upon arrival, begin your ascent up the 353m hike to the peak of the volcanic crater, where gorgeous vistas of the neighbouring islands and lush turquoise waters await. You can hike all the way to the top and experience the beauty of Semporna's ocean while taking plenty of photos.
✅ 12:00pm – Return to the boat and continue to Mantabuan Island for your first diving or snorkeling session. Lunch will be served upon arrival. After lunch, jump into the crystal-clear waters where you may spot manta rays, devil rays, eagle rays and passing sea turtles.
✅ 2:00pm – Continue to Sibuan Island, where you can relax on the sandy beach or enjoy snorkeling from the shoreline. Check with your guide about visiting the local Bajau Laut ("Sea Gypsies") village, where fishermen sell fresh coconut juice.
✅ 4:00pm – Depart from the jetty and return to Semporna Town. Transfer back to the hotel. Free and easy.
✅ Overnight at Seafest Hotel.
✅ 9:15am – Estimated arrival at Mabul Island. You can take photos and visit the fishing village.
✅ 12:00pm – Lunch will be served on the boat.
✅ 1:00pm – Enjoy your snorkeling session around the waters of Mabul Island.
✅ 2:00pm – Leave Mabul Island and proceed to Kapalai Island for another snorkeling session.
✅ 3:30pm – Depart Kapalai Island and return to Semporna Jetty.
✅ 4:00pm – Arrive at Semporna Town and transfer back to your hotel. Free and easy.
✅ Overnight at Seafest Hotel.
✅ Have leisure time on your own and prepare for hotel check-out.
✅ Transfer from Semporna Town to Tawau Airport.
✅ End of the tour ~!
Additional Information
Important Things to Note:
✅ This package does not include flight tickets and meals on the first day in Pekan Semporna.
✅ Itinerary above is for guidance, any changes could happen during the trip.
✅ You should book your room earlier as the hotel/water chalet are very limited.
✅ It is advised that you book your flight ticket on the last flight so that island hopping activities would go smoothly.
✅ Please do not bring valuables as there are no lockers on the islands.
✅ Be a responsible snorkeler / diver to protect our marine ecosystem.
✅ It is strictly prohibited to remove, pick up, step on, or destroy any marine life during the trip.
✅ Please follow the crew’s instructions. Failure to do so will result in the crew stopping you from participating in the activity and no refunds will be made.
For Bohey Dulang Hike:
✅ Kindly prepare cash to cover the Ranger Fee at Bohey Dulang. This fee applies to groups of 1-6 pax.
✅ Sneakers or hiking boots are COMPULSORY for hiking. Sandals, flip-flops, and croc slippers are strictly not allowed. Sabah Parks has the right to ban hikers with improper footwear.
✅ The shoe rental kiosk is no longer operating, so please remember to bring your own shoes.
✅ In case of rain and the cancellation of the Bohey Dulang hiking, the activity will be replaced with a snorkeling session.
✅ Due to the limited number of rangers available, the waiting time can be 1-2 hours, depending on the time taken for other groups to return to the foothill.
✅ Children below 6 years old are not allowed to join the hiking activity.
✅ Please be ready at the boat departure point at 8:00AM.
✅ The boat journey to the island(s) may not be suitable for individuals with heart or lung conditions, recent surgery, back or spinal surgery, back problems, injuries, fractures, or other similar spinal or pelvic conditions.
✅ Pregnant women are also not recommended to join as the boat ride may be bumpy depending on sea conditions. If you have any of the conditions mentioned above, kindly consult your physician before enrolling in this activity.

What an amazing day with TYH Borneo Tours & Travel! The highlight of the trip was definitely the paragliding experience. The weather was on our side, and with just the right amount of wind, we were able to stay in the air for quite a while. Flying over the beautiful landscapes of Sabah was simply unforgettable. We also visited Desa Dairy Farm, which was a fun stop. As someone from the Netherlands, dairy farms are nothing new to me, but it was really interesting to see one here in Borneo. The flower garden there is absolutely beautiful and definitely worth a visit. As a bonus, we even stopped by to see a blooming Rafflesia, which is such a rare and unique sight. To make the day even better, our guide Alex surprised us with an extra stop at a fish farm, where we admired stunning koi carp and other fish and even got the chance to feed them. Lunch was excellent as well. Before the tour, Alex took the time to ask about any dietary restrictions and made sure everything was arranged accordingly. That level of attention and care really stood out. Finally, I want to give a special thank you to Yvonne for organizing this trip. She was incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely involved throughout the booking process and the day itself. She took the time to explain all the activities and attractions in the area, making it easy to choose the perfect tour. Thank you, Alex and Yvonne, for such a memorable experience. Great River Tour! After smooth pickup and transfer we where welcomed with some coffee until the rain stopped. On the daytime tour we saw a lot of monkeys, nose monkeys, macaques and silver langur monkeys. The crew did well to maneuver the boat that we could see them well. After dinner we went to second boat tour to see the fireflies. An amazing experience that I warmly recommend! Our guide Chris was very kind and eager to help.

Great company, reasonably priced and well organised. I have done 4 tours with this company: Sapi/Manukan Islands, Mantanani Islands, Kinabalu National Park and Poring Hot Springs, and Fireflies and Proboscis Monkeys Tour. All of them were great even though the weather doing the Kinabalu National Park tour was atrocious but there was nothing could be done about that. The drivers were great especially Annuar and Ries. My favourite tour guide was Anis, whom I had the pleasure with 2 of the tours - she was incredible, very friendly with a great personality - definitely a recommended tour guide from this company. The other tour guide Matt who did the Mantanani Islands Tour was professional, to certain extent, in looking after his guests and did a great job but there is one flaw I did find with him and that is his lack of social skills in terms of mingling with guests. On journeys on the way there and back again he was too busy listening to music instead of engaging a conversation with guests and in my eyes that wasn't great. All tour guides should be professional but at the same time connect with your guests - this is where Matt failed to deliver and where Anis truly exceeded. Finally, I have to give my special thanks to Nurul for organising my tours, being proactive on WhatsApp regarding queries prior to coming to KK and during my stay. Her organisational skills was the key in why my tours were amazing - if if wasn't for Nurul, I don't think I would have enjoyed it as much as I did - everything she did was nothing more than exceptional. Thank you to TYH Borneo Tours in making my trip to KK totally worthwhile

Chris was an amazing host/driver full of knowledge, and passionate about the plants and wildlife. He went out of his way to get us to the elusive raffleisa, (see photos) as this is a rare bloomer, which wasn't part of our planned day. Would definitely recommend him and the tour. Thank you Chris
